London Almond Cookies
Homemade goodness.... Almond centre, wrapped in thin layer of buttery cookie, coated in generous layer of bittersweet chocolate, sprinkle with roasted crushed almonds.
QY made her kiddie version. She made one batch with her cookie moulds, coated with chocolates and sprinkled with colourful star-shaped crisps.

First Birthday in 2008
We celebrated cousin KT's birthday on Saturday. It's our first birthday celebration since last September. QY was naturally estatic, she loves (i stress LOVES) birthday celebrations, thus she was in a wonderful mood all day. She was already singing the birthday tune hours prior the celebrations. Was all hyped up when we went to buy a cake. And excited beyond herself when it comes to the actual celebration.

Hit the Gym
I finally felt well enough to resume my exercise. Jogged on the treadmill for 20mins, burned 103 calories. Then stationary bike for 15 mins, burned 50 calories. Slow start, but I'm now aching all over. Probably the walk over to Mel's place in heels added to my exercise and made my calf muscles ache badly.
Had dinner at Mel's place. It was one simple but healthy home cooked meal. Good for me anyway, cos' I wouldn't know what to eat if we go out. Mel tried making bread, with expensive Irish bailey's. She adapted the recipe too much and the bread didn't turn out the way she wanted it to be. As she puts the dough into the oven, we both had this very bad feeling, and were guessing if we were going to get cookies (soft or crunchy), cup cakes, or bread? Finally, we decided that it may well turn out to be r0ck cake. haha.
Lately I have a strong craving for fresh oysters. 2 days ago slipped out to Jack's Place and took half a dozen behind Ed's back,but the oysters there were so costly and so small, i was unsatistifed and my cravings worsen. Where can i get cheap and good oysters?

Traumatic Experience
A colleague, a few years my senior met an abusive client today. My colleague had given him some kind advice regarding his behaviour. Unfortunately his good intention was not appreciated. Client turned angry and rude, hurled insults, cursing my colleague, his parents and his 18 generations of ancestors in all colourful languages that only he can think of. Colleague was shocked. Didn't expect such awful words to come out from this young man. Then client turned violent, shoved and overturned 2 tables near him as he stormed out of the room. Everyone in the room were so traumatised that they all probably gonna need counselling for this.
Don't understand what kind of issues this guy has. It's kind of sad that he has so much anger in him. He ought to learn anger management, otherwise it's just going to eat him away eventually.

Mobility
My brother went for a holiday and left his car with me. With this new found mobility, i can go around so much faster and conveniently. Already made lunch appointment with JM and gym with Siew, and planned for mani-pedicure, massage and shopping.

New Year's Eve

"Now she is a bit quiet with a few kids in her class. Your mom is with her and Ah Mah is watching her from outside thru window. In fact this morning at home she refuse to go to school when I asked her. Later at your mom's house, after fetching Ah Mah then she is ok."

"So far so good. Kept a 3-4m distance from her throughout the 2 hours. But no crying.
