Holiday Homework

Yesterday morning, also the last day of the June school holidays, she told me that she has 1 more piece of homework to do. I wanted to scold her for procrastinating but she said that no hurry to hand in. So I did not nag her to do it.
We were rushing out to meet a friend so she said she will do this last piece of homework at night. The night came and past, i forgot, she don't want to remember, we didn't do the work.
Today, after first day at school, she came back telling me that some of her friends handed in that homework today. But never mind. She still have time. Teacher gave the rest till this fri. I thought still have time too until she told me the homework is to..... read 30 chinese books.
